Lucky me... I got a very sweet card, lovely flowers, a nice cup of tea and a voucher for a back massage! And as a bonus, Kyle got to chew on the envelope! John then took us all out for breakfast which was tasty and Kyle helped me out with my toast. I'm looking forward to a very tasty roast dinner from Marks and Spencer later.
We then took some flowers out to the cemetary for May, I know John misses his mum terribly and it's always hard on Mother's day, but he's been such a sweetheart and made this day special for me regardless of how he's feeling.
I can't say I ever imagined celebrating Mother's day, but it is wonderful to be a mum and I am so glad to have my wee monster in my life.
