Over the last few days Kyle has decided he really doesn't want to be fed by us anymore, he would much rather feed himself. He will tolerate you giving him a few mouthfuls, but only if he has access to his bowl and a spoon at the same time.
So, in an effort to try to make dinner time more fun than it had been becoming, we are now all sitting down to dinner together. It certainly seems to be working and Kyle is eating more than he was and also seems to be a bit happier. He really enjoyed his fish fingers, chips and peas - the fish fingers were a particularly big hit.
He's doing really well feeding himself with a spoon and is very pleased with himself - rightly so!
