Heading for the door, trying to escape the hospital before the doctor sees me!
Sadly for Kyle, the doctor did see him (we had to go the emergency GP service up at the hospital) and give him an examination. However she was very nice and diagnosed the problem quickly. He has oral herpes. So he has a big bottle of anti-viral medicine to take five times a day. His granny is coming over tonight to look after him, since he's highly contagious.
He's miserable, feverish, drooling like crazy, has spots all around and in his mouth, he's not keen on eating or drinking and is finding it hard to sleep. Pretty rubbish all around. Really hope the medicine kicks in quickly for him. Poor wee monster.
