General update

Kyle is at six teeth and counting. 4 on the top and 2 on the bottom. For the last couple of weeks his gums have been very sore and sensitive. Often he's needed painkillers, bonjela and teething powders before he goes to bed or he wakes up crying in pain. Not sure which ones are going to come through next, I would expect it would be some more on the bottom gum but Kyle's teeth don't seem to be following the standard order, so it could be any of them! The molars are starting to push, as he often has a finger rammed right to the back of his mouth - suspect it's not only sore but quite itchy too.

We have our appointment for the paediatrician, it's on the 10th August at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley (aka swine flu central!). We'll see what he/she has to say. Kyle is still getting a loose nappy every other day, but it doesn't seem to be bothering him and I suspect the teething is not helping in that regard.

Otherwise he's doing great, he's now said bye and is working on saying ball. Still not standing independently for more than a minute tops, but he's working on it. Don't think it will be long until he's walking, though I'm happy to wait a few more weeks!!
