General update

Well, Kyle has been quite unwell of late... again! Vomiting and diarrhoea started on Friday and has finally abated this morning. We've had another few visits to the doctor and I took Tuesday off work to look after him. John was unwell too, so he was trying to help but mostly had to lie down. 

In other news, Kyle is working hard on walking. He stood independently on Tuesday for a minute or two, and he's managed a couple of steps here and there. He's still falling over a lot, but it does seem like it's only a matter of time before he's mastered it. 

We have 4 teeth on the way. At once! The two upper central incisors are trying the hardest, I can see that the one on the left is almost through. The upper side incisors are also pushing hard, but are not quite through yet. Poor Kyle, it's been a tough few days for him - but as usual, he's tried hard to be cheery and still wants to play. 

Nappy changing and dressing are awful at the moment. He will not stay still and is trying hard to throw himself off whatever surface you attempt these tasks on. Wiping his face after meals is torture! On the other hand, getting his teeth brushed is very funny and apparently toothpaste is very tasty. Kyle is really enjoying shaking his head and copying things that we do - like clapping and sticking out his tongue. He also enjoys trying to put things in your mouth, like his dummy. He's also been trying to sing which is very funny and cute. He's clearly learning lots!
