I had a wonderful surprise on Friday night, as John arrived back from dropping Ashley and Jack home and he happened to have another familiar baby in our spare car seat. I recognised it was Kasper immediately (despite how much he's grown!) and it just did not compute, I suspect sleep deprivation didn't help. Apparently my face was a picture! Then I realised that Grith and Al must be here, at that point Grith bounded into the kitchen and we had a massive hug. It was the best surprise! It was only a flying visit, but so wonderful to catch up with our lovely friends and our gorgeous godson.
